The White House calls on American companies to invest in the US.
The White House did not comment on reports of Tesla's plans to build a factory in China, but called on American companies to invest in the US.

"We want all American companies to invest here. I'm commenting specifically on Tesla, but we encourage all companies to build their factories here in the United States," White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said at a press conference.
She once again accused China of dishonest trade practices and called on US companies not to "cooperate with such countries".
Earlier, Bloomberg, citing its own sources, said that the US Tesla is planning to allocate $5 billion to build a factory in China within the framework of the escalation of the trade conflict between the United States and China, while the company plans to attract some funds in China.
