Factory flooded half a meter deep and caught fire fiercely
In the early morning of August 28, a factory fire broke out on Tan Trieu Street (Hanoi), with dozens of police officers and more than 10 fire trucks being dispatched. Notably, the area where the fire broke out was still flooded to a depth of 0.5m.

According to initial information, at around 0:00 on August 28, an incidentfactory firehappened on Tan Trieu street.

Witnesses at the scene said they smelled a burning smell and saw flames coming from the paper, canvas and printing factory.
"The fire spread very quickly, lighting up a corner of the sky. When I ran from the 4th floor of my house to the street, I saw the fire spreading to the wood workshop," said a witness.


Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers along with more than 10 fire trucks from Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Teams of Regions 3, 4, 12, 13, 31 and the Fire Prevention and Rescue University to the scene to put out the fire. The Ward Police and the Militia were also present to assist in firefighting.

Notably, the area where the fire broke out was still flooded 0.3 - 0.5m deep, making firefighting very difficult. At the same time, there were many flammable substances inside the factory, so the fire spread quickly.

At around 2:15 a.m. the same day, the fire was brought under control and did not spread to the adjacent factories. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police actively sprayed water to cool down and prevent the fire from breaking out again. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and property damage is being assessed.

During the fire fighting process, an exhausted officer and soldier was taken outside by first aid support.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by authorities.
