Factory flooded to a depth of half a meter burst into flames.
In the early hours of August 28th, a factory fire broke out on Tan Trieu Street (Hanoi), and dozens of police officers along with more than 10 fire trucks were dispatched. Notably, the area where the fire occurred was still flooded to a depth of 0.5 meters.

Eyewitnesses at the scene said they smelled burning and saw intense flames rising from the paper, tarpaulin, and printing factory.
"The fire spread very quickly, illuminating a whole corner of the sky. When I ran from the 4th floor of my house down to the street, I saw the fire had already spread to the woodworking shop," a witness said.


Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police dispatched dozens of officers and soldiers along with more than 10 fire trucks from Fire Prevention and Rescue Teams of areas 3, 4, 12, 13, 31 and the Fire Prevention and Rescue University to the scene to extinguish the fire. Police officers from the ward and militia were also present to assist in firefighting.

Notably, the area where the fire occurred was still flooded with water levels ranging from 0.3 to 0.5 meters, making firefighting extremely difficult. Furthermore, the presence of many flammable materials inside the factory caused the fire to spread rapidly.

Around 2:15 AM on the same day, the fire was brought under control and did not spread to neighboring workshops. Firefighting and rescue forces actively sprayed water to cool the area and prevent the fire from reigniting. Fortunately, there were no casualties; property damage is currently being assessed.

During the firefighting operation, an officer who had become exhausted was given first aid by the support team and taken outside.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the authorities.
