Minh Nhien was born in 1970, few people know he is the younger brother of musician Tran Minh Phi and pianist Tran Minh Phuong.

Decades ago, Minh Nhien was known as a teacher, helping singers such as Kasim Hoang Vu, Giang Hong Ngoc, Maya, Kiwi Ngo Mai Trang... build, shape their style, image and debut to the public.

Having witnessed many broken teacher-student relationships on the show, he feels lucky that his relationships with his former students are very good, even though they no longer work together, they still keep in touch.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Minh Nhien had to close his company and is now only producing shows as an individual. "This sounds like a big deal, but it doesn't affect me much because I still have the same customer base from when I opened the company," he said.
