Latest Everton vs Fulham team information

Everton will continue to be without Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring) and Nathan Patterson (foot/groin) through injury. Iliman Ndiaye will undergo further testing after being forced off against Sunderland with “cramps and other minor issues.”

Moyes is considering using Beto or Barry as a striker, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall behind him in a holding role. Jack Grealish – who has won all four of his previous meetings with Fulham, scoring once – is likely to continue to start on the left wing.

James Garner and Idrissa Gueye will remain the central midfield pairing, while the back four of Jake O'Brien, James Tarkowski, Michael Keane and Vitalii Mykolenko remains largely unchanged.

On Fulham's side, the only injury is that of left-back Antonee Robinson (knee), who has been out since late September and will be reassessed after the international break.

Alex Iwobi impressed playing deep alongside Sander Berge in the previous game, and Silva is considering whether to keep that role or push him further forward to make way for Sasa Lukic.

Raul Jimenez, who recovered from injury and started 72 minutes against his former club Wolves, is likely to continue leading the attack in place of Rodrigo Muniz. The Mexican striker is currently Fulham's top scorer in 2025 with 7 Premier League goals.

Latest Everton vs Fulham football review

Everton had a spectacular home win earlier in October when they came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 2-1, but since then they have failed to win any of their last three Premier League games.

Back-to-back goalless defeats to Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur were followed by a 1-1 draw with Sunderland last Monday. Iliman Ndiaye's superb solo goal was levelled by Granit Xhaka just 43 seconds after the break. The result left Everton in 14th place, five points above both the relegation zone and the top six.

Everton's big worry is that their strikers are still underperforming. £27m summer signing Thierno Barry has yet to score in 10 Premier League appearances, while Beto has just one goal in 600 minutes. Unless they improve soon, their hopes of finishing in the top 10 or top 7 will be very difficult to achieve.

Ahead of Saturday's game, Everton had won just one of their last seven Premier League games (D3 L3), having won five of their previous six (L1). Following a 3-0 defeat to Spurs in their last home game, the Toffees are looking to avoid consecutive home defeats for the first time since December and January.

Despite failing to beat Fulham in their last four meetings (D1 L3), manager David Moyes has a very good record against them, with 19 wins from 32 Premier League meetings (D4 L9) – at least seven more than against any other opponent. The Scot could become only the third manager in Premier League history to win at least 20 games against a single team, after Sir Alex Ferguson (8) and Arsène Wenger (4).

Fulham were in dire need of a positive result after a run of four consecutive Premier League defeats, and the fans at Craven Cottage were in full celebration over the weekend as Marco Silva's side eased past bottom side Wolves 3-0.

Ryan Sessegnon opened the scoring early, before Wolves defender Emmanuel Agbadou was sent off in the first half. After the break, Harry Wilson doubled the lead with a fine strike from 20 yards, before Yerson Mosquera scored an own goal to give Fulham all three points – just their third such result of the season.

Silva was pleased his side kept a clean sheet – just their second in 19 Premier League games – and stressed the importance of the win, despite seeing “a little bit of tension” in his players’ play. Fulham are currently 15th, just one point behind Everton (their next opponents).

To improve their position, Fulham need to improve their away form, as they have the lowest away points tally this season (just one, level with Wolves). The Londoners have lost all four of their last away games, and have not lost more since a run from November to January in the 2023-24 season.

Silva can still be optimistic, though, based on recent head-to-head results, with Fulham having lost just one of their last seven Premier League meetings with Everton (W3 D3) – although that defeat was a 3-1 defeat at Craven Cottage six months ago.
