Get car back after 1 year of theft

(Baonghean.vn)- On December 29, the Mobile Police Department of Nghe An Province Police returned the motorbike to Mr. Phung Minh Tu (born in 1968), residing in Ky Ninh commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province.

Accordingly, at about 10:00 p.m. on July 9, 2017, the working group of the Mobile Police Company under the Mobile Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police was on duty on Truong Chinh Street, Vinh City when they discovered a young man driving a motorbike with license plate 36M2 - 4859 violating traffic safety, so the working group signaled to stop the vehicle for an administrative check.

During the inspection, the driver could not present relevant documents and left the vehicle behind, so the working group made a record, temporarily detained the vehicle and took it to headquarters.

After verifying the chassis number and engine number at the Nghe An Police Department of Road and Railway Traffic, it was found that the license plate was fake. The owner of the above car is Mr. Phung Minh Tu.

Present at the Mobile Police Department headquarters to receive the car, Mr. Tu said that the car was lost in November 2016, when his wife parked the car at a coffee shop in Vinh City and it was stolen.

After completing all relevant paperwork, the representative of the Mobile Police Company returned the car to Mr. Phung Minh Tu.
