Nghệ An ra quyết định thu hồi Giấy chứng nhận sản phẩm OCOP

Nghe An decided to revoke OCOP product certificate

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 14, 2023, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision 2879/QD-UBND to revoke the OCOP product certificate for a product whose evaluation and classification results were approved by the Provincial People's Committee as a 3-star OCOP product in 2022 under the "One Commune One Product Program".

Currently, Vietnamese people consume nearly 5 billion liters of sugary drinks per year, a 7-fold increase in the past 15 years, causing an increased risk of overweight, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) have proposed 4 options for imposing special consumption taxes on sugary drinks to limit the use of sugary drinks.
No record of milk powder mixed with contraceptives

Although no powdered milk products containing contraceptives were found, a series of violations in the trading of raw materials and flavorings used in food were discovered and handled by authorities.

3 products of Nghe An were recognized as typical rural industrial products of the Northern provinces in 2012.

On the morning of November 21, in Vinh City, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of industrial promotion work. Attending the conference were comrades: Ngo Quang Trung - Deputy Director of the Department of Local Industry (Ministry of Industry and Trade); Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches, and sectors, leaders of districts, cities, towns, and typical units in industrial promotion activities.
