Mr. Van was expelled from the Party for "Violating things that Party members are not allowed to do, violating professional ethics..."

According to the investigation, while still in office, although Mr. Van was not assigned to judge the case, this officer "agreed" with the litigant who was appealing the property dispute to analyze the file and promised to help win the case for 50 million VND.

After receiving the full amount, Mr. Van continued to ask the client to pay an additional 60 million VND in fees for the lawyer to verify and strengthen the appeal file.

Suspecting he was cheated, the person who gave the money reported Mr. Van and this officer returned 50 million VND.

The police are currently investigating this case.
