Motel staff sneaked into foreign guest's room
Out of money, a male motel employee who was addicted to gambling stole property from a guest.

On January 4, Mr. Hiraga Tsugio (Japanese nationality) was handed over stolen property worth 48 million VND by the Dong Hung District Police (Thai Binh).
Previously, on December 30, 2017, Mr. Hiraga Tsugio went to Dong Hung District Police to report the theft of money and property while staying at Sinh Thai Guesthouse, Dong Tan Commune.
During the investigation, authorities suspected that Tran Dinh Hai (28 years old), a motel employee, had stolen guests' property.Hai confessed that he sneaked into Mr. Hiraga's room to pay off his gambling debts.
