Nhat Ha and Lan Nha crowned champions in a surprising transformation.

After two rounds of competition, with a total score of 97/100 from guest judge Tuan Ngoc and senior artists, the duo Nhat Ha - Lan Nha officially became the champions of The Mash Up - Unexpected Transformation Season 1.

The final night (broadcast at 9 PM on January 24th on THVL1) was a rather intense competition between three couples: Nam Cuong - Xuan Phu, Thanh Ngoc - Hong Hanh, and Lan Nha - Nhat Ha.

Nhat Ha and Lan Nha continued to surprise the audience with a spectacular comeback, overcoming the challenge of the "Dreamland" theme from the duo Hong Hanh and Thanh Ngoc with their performance of "Dreamland" (French music - Vietnamese lyrics: Anh Tu) - "Like a Dream" (My Tam) and a perfectly coordinated mash-up of "Goodbye Sadness" (Nguyen Anh 9).

In the themed round given by their team, the pair continuously received enthusiastic applause from the audience, and praise from renowned singer Tuan Ngoc and other artists participating in the program. And in the self-chosen duet round, Nhat Ha and Lan Nha once again affirmed their perfect chemistry, from their appearance to their voices.

“This result was quite unexpected for Nha and Ha. In the first episode, Nha's pair had the lowest score, so neither of them thought they would become champions. Afterwards, the two sisters agreed to try their best each week to bring the audience the most impressive mash-ups. And this victory is the result of the combined efforts of the two sisters and the enthusiastic support from the artists and the audience,” – Lan Nha shared her feelings after winning. Meanwhile, singer Nhat Ha revealed that she and her younger colleague will collaborate on a CD in the near future.

Finishing second with a close score of 96/100 points, the duo Hong Hanh and Thanh Ngoc left many feeling disappointed. With the theme of "Debt" challenged by the Xuan Phu - Nam Cuong team, the "mother and daughter" duo chose to mash up two songs: "Anh con no em" (Anh Bang, Lyrics: Phan Thanh Tai) and "Gui anh xa nho" (Tien Cookie).

Singer Tuan Ngoc praised Thanh Ngoc's creativity in changing the pronouns and emotions in the song "Anh con no em" (I still owe you), while Xuan Phu felt that psychological pressure combined with choosing a slightly low key prevented the singer of "Ca phe dang va mua" (Bitter coffee and rain) from reaching her best form. However, in the self-chosen duet round, Hong Hanh and Thanh Ngoc scored absolute points with their captivating and charming performance of "Tinh ho" (Pham Duy).

Xuan Phu and Nam Cuong surprised everyone by choosing a mash-up of "The Last Nameless Song" (Vu Thanh An) and "Wiping Away Tears" (Do Hieu) for the "Tears" theme of the duo Nhat Ha and Lan Nha.

Both opened their performance with a simple acoustic style, gradually leading the entire audience into a lively and exciting atmosphere with beautiful dance moves set to upbeat music.

Witnessing Xuan Phu's passionate performance on stage, so different from his usual calm demeanor, renowned singer Tuan Ngoc was surprised and jokingly bestowed upon him the title of "The Mash Up hotboy".

In addition, senior artist Tuan Ngoc also highly appreciated the arrangement of the melody, which perfectly captured the mash-up spirit of the program.

In the self-chosen duet segment, the duo Xuan Phu and Nam Cuong captivated the audience with their performance of "Hon Vong Phu" (by Le Thuong). Although they chose a new style to impress in the final night, the pair still failed to completely win over the judges.

Nhat Ha felt that the performance by both artists lacked surprise. Meanwhile, renowned singer Tuan Ngoc commented that the arrangement lacked the majestic grandeur of an epic.

Also in the final night, the six couples who participated in the first season of The Mash Up returned to the stage, harmonizing their voices in a vibrant spring-themed performance: "Ly Ruou Mung" (Pham Dinh Chuong) and "Nhu Hoa Mua Xuan" (Chau Dang Khoa). Meanwhile, singers Tuan Ngoc and Phuong Vy Idol presented a mash-up performance of "Tinh Tu Mua Xuan" (Tu Cong Phung) and "Co Doi Lan" (Duc Tri) as a heartfelt New Year's greeting to the show's audience before the Year of the Rooster.
