News from Long Ho district police, Vinh Long province on June 27 said that this agency is investigating the case of intentional injury of suspect Tran Tuan Vu.

According to the initial investigation results, on September 23, Tran Tuan Vu went to work and then drank with some friends. Seeing that her husband did not come home late, Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh - Vu's wife called her husband and told him "don't come home anymore".

When Vu came home and went to his room to sleep, Ms. Thanh did not agree. Seeing that, Vu asked his wife to give him the car keys so he could go sleep somewhere else, but Ms. Thanh did not give them either.

Angry, and already drunk, Vu went to the kitchen to get a knife and slashed his wife. Thanh screamed in panic. Thanh's parents, who were nearby, ran in to stop him and were also slashed by Vu.

Seeing Vu being too aggressive, some of his wife's family members restrained Vu and reported to the police, then took Thanh and her parents to the hospital for emergency care.
