Dien Chau Children's Team won the right to serve and took the lead right after the opening whistle.

In the 4th minute, Phu Dien team was awarded a direct free kick. Number 9 Mai Duc Lam launched a powerful shot that sent the ball straight into the middle of Nhi Dong Hung Nguyen's goal, but goalkeeper Nguyen Hoang Long reacted promptly and pushed the ball out.

Two minutes later, in a situation of joining the attack, number 9 Mai Duc Lam had a very strong shot from outside the penalty area, sending the ball hitting the crossbar.

In the following minutes, the advantage completely belonged to Nhi Dong Dien Chau. The red shirt players attacked the ball sharply and often launched shots towards Nhi Dong Dien Chau's goal but they were not dangerous enough to defeat goalkeeper Nguyen Hoang Long.

After 10 minutes of being completely dominated, Nhi Dong Hung Nguyen played more calmly and started to have sharper attacks and put pressure back on Nhi Dong Dien Chau's goal. However, the final shots were either inaccurate or too weak to get past goalkeeper Pham Minh Tri.

The first half ended without any goals being scored.

Right at the beginning of the second half, in a situation of rushing up to join the attack on the right wing, number 2 Nguyen Dinh Tuan of Hung Nguyen Children's Club launched a very strong and dangerous cross-angle shot, but goalkeeper Pham Minh Tri excellently pushed the ball out, saving the goal for Dien Chau Children's Club.

Two minutes after this situation, although still being pressured, Nhi Dong Dien Chau unexpectedly scored the opening goal. From a central attack, number 11 Ta Vu Duc Duy handled the ball skillfully, tricked a defender of Nhi Dong Hung Nguyen and then chipped the ball into the net.

Confident after the goal, Nhi Dong Dien Chau players rushed forward to attack and had many dangerous shots. Number 8 Ho Nhan Tuyen, number 9 Mai Duc Lam and the author of the opening goal Ta Vu Duc Duy were the outstanding players of Phu Dien team.

The Hung Nguyen Children's players were determined to equalize, so they also organized very quick counter-attacks every time they regained control of the ball. The two teams played tit for tat, creating an attractive offensive game.

The clearest chance in the remaining minutes of the match belonged to Nhi Dong Dien Chau when, in a sloppy situation in front of Nhi Dong Hung Nguyen's goal, a player in red shirt launched a volley that sent the ball beyond the reach of goalkeeper Nguyen Hoang Long but unfortunately the ball hit the crossbar.

At the end of the match, Dien Chau Children's School defeated Hung Nguyen Children's School with a score of 1-0 and temporarily led Group A before the match in the same group between Thai Hoa Town Children's School and Con Cuong Children's School.
