Entering the second round of Group A after Nhi dong Cua Lo (red shirt) lost heavily to Nhi dong Hoang Mai with a score of 4-0. Meanwhile, Nhi dong Quynh Luu (white shirt) held Nhi dong Nghia Dan with a score of 1-1. Therefore, this match was determined to be "life or death" to compete for a ticket to the next round.

Entering the match with high determination, both teams tried their best to win the opportunity to continue. In the first minutes of the match, the two teams played an open game with "tit for tat" moves, the goals of both teams were continuously threatened by the situations created by the players of both sides. It was not until the 33rd minute of the match that player number 3 of Nhi dong Cua Lo, Hoang Gia Huy, had a long shot. Although the shot was not dangerous, because Nhi dong Quynh Luu's goalkeeper slipped, the ball hit the ground and flew over the goalkeeper's head into the net. The score was leveled at 1-1 and this was also the final result of the match.
