Excluding land use fees, the total revenue of the Tax Department in the first nine months reached VND 7,882 billion, equivalent to 71% of the projected target, 89% compared to the same period last year, and 60% of the provincial budget revenue target.
Seven revenue streams exceeded targets, including non-state-owned industry and services (124%), foreign-invested enterprises (121%), non-agricultural land use tax (119%), lottery (114%), and local state-owned enterprises (114%).

According to the head of the Nghe An Tax Department, due to difficult production and business conditions and the impact of the economic recession, the overall revenue collection in localities has decreased.
The estimated domestic revenue for the first 10 months of the year for the entire province is...12.131 billion VND, reaching 83.2% of the budget estimate and equaling 70.5% of the same period in 2022.
Excluding land use fees and lottery revenue, the cumulative domestic revenue for the first 10 months is estimated at 8,899 billion VND, reaching 80.5% of the budget and equaling 91.7% of the same period in 2022.
Revenue from import and export activities in the first 10 months is estimated at 886 billion VND, reaching 70.9% of the projected target and equaling 70% of the same period in 2022.
Estimated state budget revenue collection in the province for the first 10 months of 2023 has not met the target set by the Provincial People's Council (at 83.33%) and is lower than the same period in 2022.
