Many temples in the province solemnly organized the Great Celebration of Buddha's Enlightenment.

A solemn ceremony commemorating the Buddha's Enlightenment was held at Lam Son Pagoda (Quynh Luu).

Going back in history, more than 2,500 years ago, Prince Siddhartha in India, after six years of ascetic practice and 49 days and nights of meditation under the Bodhi tree, attained enlightenment and became the Buddha Shakyamuni. The 8th day of the 12th lunar month has become the Buddha's Enlightenment Day.

Venerable Thich Dinh Tue (Duc Hau Pagoda) performed the spiritual ritual, offering incense to the Buddha, remembering and expressing gratitude for the immeasurable merits of the Buddha.

Every year on this day, Buddhists around the world joyfully celebrate. Thanks to the Buddha's enlightenment, Buddhism was born and has continuously spread throughout the world, bringing the spirit of compassion, forgiveness, and love to all people.

Today, Buddhism is one of the world's major religions. The noble teachings of the Buddha have become the way of life and faith for countless monks, nuns, and Buddhists, guiding many people towards peace and steadfastness.

With meticulous and thoughtful preparation, the Buddha Enlightenment ceremonies at Pho Mon Pagoda, Duc Hau Pagoda (Vinh City), Lam Son Pagoda (Quynh Luu)... were held solemnly to honor the event of the Buddha's attainment of supreme enlightenment, expressing reverence and gratitude to the Buddha.

During the ceremony, the monks performed spiritual rituals, offered incense to the Buddha, remembered and expressed gratitude for the immeasurable merits of the Buddha, and vowed to engrave in their minds the spirit of practice and apply the teachings and doctrines of the Tathagata on the path to enlightenment.

Along with chanting the Enlightenment Sutra, in a warm atmosphere, the monks shared Dharma talks about the Buddha's Enlightenment Day, Buddhist teachings, and the spread of Buddhism throughout the world. At the end of the ceremonies, a large number of Buddhist followers offered flowers as offerings, their hearts filled with noble prayers directed towards the Buddha.
