Overall, voters in Nghe An entered election day with enthusiasm and eagerness to cast their ballots and choose representatives with sufficient political qualities and capabilities to represent the thoughts and aspirations of the people. Public opinion in the province remained very stable.

As of 9:00 AM on March 15th, the entire province recorded 1,164,671 out of a total of 2,351,698 registered voters casting their ballots at 3,116 polling stations across 130 communes and wards (an average turnout rate of 49.5%). Notably, the voting process progressed very quickly, with 1,105 polling stations already achieving 100% voter turnout.

The entire commune has over 26,000 voters participating in the election. From early morning, a large number of voters were present at the polling stations to attend the opening ceremony and exercise their rights and civic duties. The streets and residential areas were brightly decorated with national flags, banners, and propaganda slogans, creating a vibrant atmosphere leading up to this great national event.

After the opening ceremony, the election committee disseminated the regulations of the polling station and introduced the list of candidates so that voters could understand them before exercising their right to vote. Voters at the polling stations followed the steps of receiving their ballots, entering the polling station, and directly casting their ballots into the ballot box. The atmosphere at the polling stations was lively but still maintained order and seriousness.

Many elderly voters, including a 101-year-old with mobility difficulties, as well as middle-aged and young voters participating in elections for the first time, enthusiastically went to the polls. Particularly in some Catholic areas such as Quy Chinh Parish, Nhat Quang Church, and Van Loc Parish, priests and religious orders proactively arranged church services, promptly joining parishioners in attending the opening ceremony and exercising their civic rights and duties.

Thanks to thorough preparation and the coordinated efforts of the entire political system, all 36 polling stations in Van An commune simultaneously opened and held elections in a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere, contributing to the success of this national event.

* In keeping with the nationwide atmosphere of this great national event, on the morning of March 15th, more than 12,000 voters in the border commune of Mon Son enthusiastically went to polling stations to exercise their rights and civic duties, participating in the election of representatives to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

From early morning, at the 25 polling stations in the commune, a large number of voters arrived very early to participate in the voting. In an atmosphere of enthusiasm, democracy, and adherence to regulations, voters carefully studied the list, selecting outstanding representatives with sufficient qualities and capabilities to represent the will and aspirations of the people.

Mon Son is a border commune with a large area, many hamlets and villages located far from the center, and transportation is still difficult. To facilitate voter participation, the local authorities have arranged 25 polling stations throughout the commune. Among these, three polling stations held early voting two days in particularly difficult-to-reach hamlets: Moi, Co Phat, and Bung, making it convenient for residents to vote while ensuring the election proceeds as planned.

To ensure the election day was conducted solemnly and in accordance with regulations, the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Mon Son commune assigned leading officials to directly attend, inspect, and supervise at the polling stations. On-site inspections revealed that all polling stations were meticulously prepared, from decorations and arrangements, to the posting of voter lists and brief biographies of candidates, as well as ensuring security, order, and other conditions to facilitate voter participation.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, voters in Nghia Tho commune actively participated in the voting, selecting outstanding representatives to participate in the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, contributing to the realization of the people's right to self-governance and their responsibility towards the development of the locality and the country. In this election, more than 13,900 voters in Nghia Tho commune will participate in voting to elect 3 National Assembly representatives, 5 provincial People's Council representatives, and 23 commune People's Council representatives.

As of 9:00 AM, voter turnout in Nghia Tho commune was nearly 70%.

* At exactly 6:30 AM this morning (March 15th), in a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere, 63 polling stations in Quynh Anh commune, Nghe An province, simultaneously held the opening ceremony for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

According to the Election Committee of Quynh Anh commune, the entire commune has 39,204 voters participating in the election at 63 polling stations. Preparations for election day were carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations.
