Specifically: Dinh spillway bridge Km97+850 connecting Nghia Hung commune, Nghia Dan district and Nghia Xuan commune, Quy Hop, is 1.7m deep in water; other spillways in the district such as Nghia Dan town; Nghia Binh... are also at high levels.

In Nghia Hung commune, the roads of 11 hamlets with over 1,000 households have been cut off and isolated. However, the authorities and people of Nghia Hung commune have proactively prepared. Mr. Tran Van Long - Vice Chairman of Nghia Hung Commune People's Committee said: "The commune People's Committee has continuously issued notices and instructions to hamlets, schools and people to raise the spirit of responding to storms and post-storm circulation."

At Hieu spillway bridge, Nghia Thinh commune (Nghia Dan), section KM92+B50, National Highway 48E connecting Nghia Thinh with Nghia Hung, the flood water is about 1 meter deep, dangerous for people and vehicles passing by. In this situation, the People's Committee of Nghia Thinh commune has set up fences and signs prohibiting people from crossing the spillway that is flooded.

To warn people when traveling through the spillway, the District People's Committee has directed the communes to place warning signs; assign officers to guard and prevent people and vehicles from passing through the spillway during rainy and flood days. However, with the large number of spillways, combined with unusual weather developments, each person must be proactive, avoid subjectivity, and not intentionally cross rivers and streams when there are warnings of danger from the authorities.
