Many organizations and families are no longer enthusiastic about the title of "cultural unit" or "cultural family".
(Baonghean.vn) - Current cultural titles are still largely 형식적인 (formalistic) and impractical, causing many organizations and families to lose interest in them.
On the morning of July 18th, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to review the work of the first six months of 2019 and to implement tasks for the last six months of 2019 for the Steering Committee of the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" Movement. Mr. Dinh Viet Hong – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Mr. Ho Mau Thanh – Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province, chaired the conference.

The preservation of national culture, the construction of cultural and sports facilities, and rural transportation infrastructure, linked with the "National Solidarity Movement for Building New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas" at the grassroots level, have received attention and support from districts, cities, and towns; coupled with the mobilization of internal resources from the people and other legitimate sources, this has contributed to changing the face of rural cultural life.
At the conference, members of the Steering Committee focused on analyzing the limitations of the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" movement throughout the province: The movement is developing slowly in some localities. Resources for activities do not meet the requirements. Investment in grassroots culture is low, while investment in spirituality is high. The attention of people and organizations to building cultural titles is still limited.

On this occasion, the Steering Committee also outlined solutions to achieve the targets set for the entire province by the end of 2019: 83.6% of families achieving the "cultured family" status; 61% of villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods achieving the "cultured village, hamlet, and neighborhood" status; and 52% of communes, wards, and towns having cultural and sports facilities meeting standards...
