*Youth Union of the Provincial Military CommandIn coordination with several universities, colleges, and businesses in the area, as well as the 873rd Maritime Transport Brigade - Logistics Department of Military Region IV, the North Central Mobile Police Regiment, the 137th Squadron - Region 1 of the Navy, the Military Command, and the Cua Lo Town Youth Union, a ceremony was held to present national flags and life jackets to fishermen in Cua Lo town.
At the ceremony, the participating units jointly presented gifts to 5 families receiving preferential treatment; and donated gifts and bicycles to 9 poor students in Cua Lo town and some students in Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, and Nghi Loc districts.

Implementing the "I Love My Homeland" movement, the program of donating national flags to fishermen at sea has been carried out by the Youth Union of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command since 2016. To date, the movement has attracted a large number of Youth Union organizations from universities, colleges, vocational schools, high schools, and businesses in the province to participate, and has donated more than 22,500 national flags and hundreds of gifts to support fishermen in Nghe An province.
The activities of presenting national flags and gifts to fishermen have also contributed to raising awareness, responsibility, and love for the sea and islands of the homeland among cadres and youth union members in the armed forces and cadres and youth union members in agencies, units, schools, and businesses in the province. At the same time, it encourages fishermen to actively go out to sea, increase the exploitation of aquatic and marine resources, and contribute to maintaining the sovereignty of the homeland's sea and islands.

Over 50 patients, including people with disabilities, orphans, and those in particularly difficult circumstances, received free medical examinations, consultations for internal medicine, surgery, and respiratory illnesses, as well as prescriptions and medication; with a total value exceeding 10 million VND.
In addition, the doctors and nurses at the Health Station also incorporated the dissemination of information and guidance to the people on hygiene practices to prevent some common diseases.

At the victims' homes, leaders of Son Hai commune and Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station offered condolences and encouragement to help the families overcome their grief, and also presented each family with 5 million VND to support funeral expenses.

Ms. Ha Thi Xuan, residing in Hamlet 7, Cao Son Commune, is a single mother raising two young children alone and currently living in a severely dilapidated house. The District Women's Union, in coordination with the District Fatherland Front, a business entity, the local government, the Commune Women's Union, and local residents, has provided labor support to build a new "house of compassion" for her. The new house, with an area of 45 square meters, is under construction and is expected to cost over 100 million VND.
Regarding the family of Ms. Luong Thi Nguyet in Hamlet 12, Hoa Son Commune, her husband passed away early, leaving her to raise two young children alone. Currently, the three of them are living in an old, dilapidated house that has been in disrepair for many years. Sharing in the family's difficult circumstances, the Anh Son District Women's Union has provided 20 million VND from the district's "Warm Home of Love" Fund, and the Anh Son District Fatherland Front has also provided 20 million VND to build a new house for the family.
