*Youth Union of Provincial Military CommandIn coordination with a number of universities, colleges, and businesses in the area, the 873rd Maritime Transport Brigade - Logistics Department of Military Region IV, the North Central Mobile Police Regiment, Squadron 137 - Navy Region 1, the Military Command and Cua Lo Town Youth Union organized a ceremony to present national flags and life jackets to fishermen of Cua Lo Town.

At the ceremony, the units coordinated to present gifts to 5 policy families; presented gifts and bicycles to 9 poor students in Cua Lo town and some students in Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc districts.

Implementing the movement "I love my Fatherland", the program of giving national flags to fishermen at sea has been implemented by the Youth Union of the Military Command of Nghe An province since 2016. Up to now, the movement has attracted a large number of Youth Union organizations of universities, colleges, secondary schools, high schools, and enterprises in the province to participate and has presented more than 22,500 national flags and hundreds of gifts to support fishermen in Nghe An province.

The activity of presenting national flags and gifts to fishermen has also contributed to raising awareness, responsibility and love for the sea and islands of cadres, youth union members in the armed forces and cadres, youth union members of agencies, units, schools and enterprises in the province. At the same time, it encourages fishermen to actively go offshore, increase exploitation of aquatic and marine products; contributing to maintaining the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the homeland.

More than 50 patients with disabilities, orphans and those in especially difficult circumstances were examined, consulted on internal medicine, surgery, respiratory diseases... prescribed and given free medicine; with a total value of more than 10 million VND.

In addition, doctors and nurses of the Health Station also promote and instruct people on hygiene to prevent some common diseases.

At the victims' families, leaders of Son Hai commune and Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station expressed their condolences and encouraged the families to overcome their grief soon, and gave each family 5 million VND to support funeral expenses.

Ms. Ha Thi Xuan in village 7, Cao Son commune is a single woman, raising two children alone, currently living in a seriously degraded house. The District Women's Union coordinated with the District Fatherland Front, a business unit, the government, the Commune Women's Union, the people and her brothers to support her with working days to build a warm house for her. The new house has just started construction with an area of ​​45m2, estimated cost of over 100 million VND.

As for the family of Ms. Luong Thi Nguyet in village 12, Hoa Son commune, her husband died early, leaving her to raise 2 small children. Currently, the mother and her children are living in an old house that has been dilapidated and degraded for many years. Sharing the difficult situation of her family, the Women's Union of Anh Son district supported 20 million VND from the district's Charity Shelter Fund, and the Fatherland Front of Anh Son district supported 20 million VND to build a new house for her family./.
