Many activities involving gift-giving and support for students are taking place ahead of the new school year.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 31st, a ceremony was held in Quy Hop district to hand over a "Pink Scarf Volunteer" house to Ha Thi Uyen, a 7th-grade student at Chau Thanh Ethnic Boarding Secondary School.
Ha Thi Uyen, from Na An hamlet, Chau Thanh commune, comes from a very difficult background. Her family is classified as extremely poor, her mother is frequently ill, and her father has cognitive impairment. Despite the hardships and difficulties, she has made a great effort to excel in her studies.

Thanks to the attention of the Party Committee, the local government, the Chau Thanh Commune Youth Union, and the support of family, relatives, and neighbors, after 3 months of construction, a solid house was built with a usable area of nearly 50m2 and a total value of nearly 100 million VND. Of this amount, 40 million VND was supported by the Quy Hop District Youth Council from the "Pink Scarf Volunteer" fundraising campaign of youth members from schools throughout the district; the rest was saved and borrowed from relatives... The "Pink Scarf Volunteer" house is an encouragement for Ha Thi Uyen to confidently enter the new school year and celebrate a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival.
This is the second house built during the 2021-2022 school year and the 11th house donated by the Quy Hop District Youth Council to underprivileged students who excel academically in the area, funded by contributions from students through the "Small Plan" movement.

In Van Loi commune (Quy Hop district), the Youth Union of the State Bank of Vietnam in Nghe An province and the Youth Union of Agribank collaborated with the commune's Youth Union to organize a handover ceremony for the youth project "Children's Playground" and presented 40 gifts in response to the "For Our Beloved Children" movement, with a total value of over 28 million VND, in Bac Loi hamlet.

A children's playground, including pull-up bars, swings, seesaws, etc., costing over 20 million VND, was inaugurated and handed over, contributing to creating a playground for the children of the hamlet. Also on this occasion, the Youth Union of the State Bank of Vietnam in Nghe An province and the Youth Union of Agribank donated 40 gifts worth 8 million VND to 40 disadvantaged students in Van Loi commune.

This is a practical activity aimed at creating a playground for children in remote areas, where not only are there a lack of facilities for daily life, but also for learning and recreation.

Scholarship gifts were presented to 260 disabled students in Quynh Luu.
Also on the morning of August 31st, the Association for the Protection of Children's Rights and Support for People with Disabilities in Quynh Luu district organized the program "Connecting Love - Helping Children Go to School," awarding 260 scholarships to orphaned and disabled students in the district.

In response to the program launched by the Provincial Association, in the past period,The Association for the Protection of Children's Rights and Support of People with Disabilities in Quynh Luu District has mobilized sponsors to donate 130 million VND to provide scholarships and encouragement to children facing difficulties and illnesses, helping them overcome challenges and excel in their studies, on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2022-2023.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee presented 260 gifts to 260 orphaned and disabled students from primary and secondary schools in 33 communes and towns, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
On this occasion, the Association for the Protection of Children's Rights and the Support of People with Disabilities in Quynh Luu district also awarded the "Golden Lotus of Compassion in Nghe An" certificate of honor to express gratitude to individuals, groups, and companies that have supported and sponsored the district association in the "Connecting Love - Helping Children Go to School" program over the past time.
