(Baonghean.vn) - On January 21st, in response to the call for "Tet for the Poor" by the Provincial Party Secretary, activities to visit and give Tet gifts took place in several localities throughout the province.
*Delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization DepartmentA delegation led by Comrade Le Quoc Khanh, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee, visited and presented gifts to Minh Lam village, Nghia Lam commune, Nghia Dan district.

This time, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee donated 20 tons of cement and a portable loudspeaker to Minh Lam village, and presented 10 gift packages to poor households, each worth 700,000 VND, with the hope of contributing to helping Nghia Lam commune complete the criteria and achieve the New Rural Area standard in 2022. The total value of the gifts is nearly 40 million VND.

During this trip, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to the border guard stations and posts in Thong Thu, the Party Committee of Thong Thu commune, and donated 20 gift packages to policy beneficiary households, poor households, and those with difficult circumstances in Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district, with a total value of 29 million VND.

In Nghia Trung commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mrs. Ho Thi Binh, mother of a fallen soldier in Trung Nguyen hamlet; Mr. Ho Van Dong, a 4/4 war invalid in Trung Phu hamlet; and Mr. Nguyen Huu Tham, a poor household in Trung Thinh hamlet. The delegation also presented gifts to the family of Mr. Tran Anh Tuyet, a 2/4 war invalid in Dong Bai hamlet, and Mr. Pham Van Pham, a poor household in Dong Ao hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune.
During their visits to the families, the district leaders cordially encouraged those who had rendered meritorious service to the nation and expressed their hope that these families would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, participate in building a strong Party and government, and encourage their children and grandchildren to actively participate in labor and production, practice thrift, and build prosperous families and homeland.
