(Baonghean.vn) - During the April 30 and May 1 holidays, Nghe An is expected to welcome a large number of tourists, and currently many large hotels are fully booked.
In recent days, the number of tourists visiting the coastal town of Cua Lo has been increasing, especially on weekends. There are times when large resorts and hotels in the area are running at 100% capacity. The number of customers contacting to book rooms continues to increase, especially during the holidays of April 30 and May 1.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Deputy Director of Saigon Kim Lien Resort Cua Lo, after the opening of the Tourism Festival, the number of tourists from provinces and cities coming to Cua Lo has increased, of which, visitors from Hanoi account for a large number. The number of guests staying increased sharply on weekends, especially during the upcoming holidays when all rooms have been booked, with not a single room left.
Mr. Ngo Xuan Hoa - DirectorHotelHai Dang, Vice Chairman of the Cua Lo Town Hotel Association, said: “After more than 2 years of being affected by the pandemic, now moving to a “new normal” state, more tourists have returned to Cua Lo. For the upcoming holiday, 3-5 star hotels in the area have been fully booked on April 30, and on May 1 there are still rooms available but not many. Other hotels and motels have also booked 70-90% of their rooms for this occasion.”

Expecting a sudden increase in the number of visitors during the holiday, Cua Lo town has directed localities and restaurant and hotel owners to improve service quality, ensure security and order, and strengthen Covid-19 prevention and control.

Anticipating that a large number of visitors will flock to Cua Lo during the upcoming April 30 and May 1 holidays, which could put pressure on accommodation facilities here, the Department of Tourism has directed travel agencies to strengthen guidance and propaganda for tourists to visit and relax at eco-tourism and community tourism areas in the province such as Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Dien Chau, Que Phong ... to "reduce the load" in Cua Lo. However, up to now, accommodation facilities in key tourist destinations in the province have been fully booked.
According to the information we have, Muong Thanh Dien Lam Eco-Resort (Dien Chau) has no more rooms available during the daysholidaycoming soon. Most of the guests are from big cities like Hanoi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City. Many guests contacted to book rooms from the beginning of April, by mid-April there were basically no rooms left.

In Con Cuong, on April 30, all hotels in the area were "full", on April 29 and May 1, there were still rooms available but not a large number. At the same time, guests have also contacted homestays in Mon Son, Yen Khe and Bong Khe communes to stay, but so far there are no vacancies.
