Many gifts come to the poor on the occasion of Tet Dinh Dau 2017

(Baonghean.vn) - On January 18, agencies, units and localities continued to visit and give gifts to poor households and those in difficult circumstances in the province, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2017.

On the afternoon of January 18, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu district distributed the entire amount of 2.1 billion VND to the poor in the district to celebrate the Dinh Dau New Year 2017.

In response to the appeal of Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh to support and help the poor celebrate the Dinh Dau New Year, Quynh Luu district has called on many agencies, organizations, units and philanthropists to participate in support. Up to now, the whole district has collected nearly 2.1 billion VND to help the poor celebrate the New Year.

According to the plan, Quynh Luu district will give each poor household 500,000 VND to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2017.

Here, the delegation presented 100 gifts to poor families and families in especially difficult circumstances in the commune, each worth 500,000 VND.

This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the pioneering role of the youth force, for community life, sharing difficulties, contributing to helping people in especially difficult circumstances have a happy and warm New Year.

Each gift is worth 520,000 VND, including 400,000 VND in cash, the rest are essential necessities. The gifts show the hearts of the officers and employees of the Nghe An banking sector towards the poor ethnic people, with the desire to share some of the difficulties so that they can have a full and warm Tet holiday.
