Many houses in Nghe An border commune had their roofs blown off due to hail.
A tornado accompanied by hail caused the roofs of many houses in the border commune of Tam Hop, mountainous district of Tuong Duong to be blown off.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Son - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district said that at around 2:30 p.m. on April 9, in Tam Hop commune, there was hail and a tornado.
A tornado accompanied by hail lasted for more than 30 minutes and swept through Xop Nam and Phong villages, causing many houses to have their roofs blown off and trees to fall.


According to initial preliminary statistics, in Xop Nam village, 10 houses and in Phong village, 15 houses had their roofs blown off and many trees were broken.
It is known that currently, the leaders of Tam Hop commune are directly going to count the specific damage and sending forces to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their lives.


In addition to Tam Hop commune, this phenomenon also occurred in some villages in Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district. Currently, Tam Quang commune is also sending officials to inspect the damage.
