Reporters' observations early this morning, August 26th, in several localities in Nghe An province show that many people's properties have been damaged by Typhoon No. 5.

bão 7 (2) — According to local fishermen, due to their experience in anchoring boats and dealing with high tides, their vessels suffered almost no damage from the waves. Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Chairman of the Dien Chau Commune People's Committee, stated: Initial assessments indicate that the damage mainly involves trees, crops, and some houses with damaged roofs.
