Many cars in Vinh city had their tires punctured at night.
After a night of parking in front of their house, many families in block 15, Truong Thi ward (Vinh city) were upset when their car tires were punctured by thieves.
Mr. Phan Huy The, residing at No. 7, Cao Huy Dinh Street, Block 15, Truong Thi Ward (Vinh City), indignantly said: This morning when he woke up early to go to work, he discovered that the car parked right in front of his house had its right rear tire punctured by a bad guy. After checking, he discovered that 6 cars had similar punctures.

Mr. The said that because he was in a hurry to go to work, he had to call a mechanic to patch the tire temporarily. However, because the puncture was across the side of the tire, in the long run, to ensure safety, he had to replace it. It is unclear what motivated the bad guys to vandalize so many cars.

Similarly, Ms. Thao, who lives at No. 5 Cao Huy Dinh Street, also had her right rear tire punctured. It is worth mentioning that Ms. Thao's rear tire had just been replaced for more than 3 million VND more than a month ago.
Arriving at the area where people's cars were vandalized, monitoring the surveillance camera footage recorded by people, we discovered that the time the cars were vandalized was from about 3:45 to 4:00 a.m. on July 3. The suspect was riding a bicycle, wearing a hat and a mask. After using a long iron bar to puncture the tire, the suspect rode away.

According to records, the incident of thieves puncturing people's tires when parked on the side of the road is not a new occurrence in Vinh city. Previously, at the beginning of 2024, many people who brought their children to the Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital for examination and treatment also encountered similar situations when parking along the roads surrounding the hospital. This is an act of vandalism against citizens' property that must be condemned.

Talking with the representative of the leadership of Truong Thi Ward Police, we learned that: This morning (July 3), Truong Thi Ward Police sent officers of the Criminal Investigation Department to the area to grasp the situation and will verify and investigate as soon as possible.
