Gangsters smash businessman's car.
Due to a dispute over the purchase of several plots of land worth tens of billions of dong, Cuong hired a gang to smash cars and set fire to the house of his "rival".
On July 29, the police of District 10 (Ho Chi Minh City) arrested Nguyen Ngoc Cuong (54 years old, from Hai Phong), Nguyen Duy Hung (35 years old), and four of their accomplices for intentionally damaging property.

According to the investigation, in 2011, Cuong contributed 15 billion VND with Mr. Van to purchase five plots of land in Long An. The joint investment only covered four plots, leaving a shortfall of 35 billion VND, leading the real estate company to sue the buyer.
Mr. Van requested that the company withdraw the lawsuit and authorize Cuong to handle the transaction. However, the two sides were still unable to reach an agreement.
Cuong, enraged, hired Hung and his gang to pressure the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the real estate company. He provided the businessman's license plate number and home address so the thugs could carry out the attack.
On July 13th, while he was parking his car at an apartment building in District 10, Hung and four of his accomplices smashed the car door with hammers, filming the incident to report to Cuong. Additionally, they threw Molotov cocktails at his house in District 6.
The incident is under extensive investigation.
