Group of people who threw paint to collect debt arrested.
Tran Quoc Phong, 27, and three accomplices were arrested five days after they drove a car to vandalize the home of a COVID-19 patient with paint and placed a small coffin in front of their door to pressure the family into paying a debt.
On December 15th, Tran Quoc Phong, Huynh Tan Bao, Chau Phong, and Nguyen Ngoc Man (aged 19-27) were investigated by the Ham Thuan Nam District Police for the crime.Threat to killand signs of behaviorInsulting the national flag..

According to the investigation, in the early morning of October 9th, Phong and his accomplices drove from Phan Thiet City to the house where seven people were being quarantined and treated for Covid-19 in Tan Thanh commune, Ham Thuan Nam district.
This group splashed red paint all over the victim's yard and grocery store sign, placed a small coffin in front of the door, and threw a paint-stained flag onto the ground... Afterwards, Phong's group went to another person's house in Muong Man commune and committed a similar act.
