A group of young people in Nghe An held a drug party in a rented room.

At around 10:00 a.m. on June 9, the working group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province Police inspected the rented house of Mr. Ho Anh Van (Nguyen Kiem Street, Block 8, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City).

Police discovered that in room number 202 rented by Nguyen Thu Trang (born 2000, permanent resident of Nghia My commune, Thai Hoa town), there were 9 young men and women showing signs of illegal drug use.

The subjects include: Ngo Chi Hoa (born in 1995); Phan Cong Duc (born in 1995), Ngo Trong Quy (born in 1993), Tran Dung Hoang (born in 1996), all residing in Quy Hop district; Thanh Ngoc Hoa (born in 1992, residing in Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi); Nguyen Thi Thu Trang (born in 2000); Cao Hong Ngoc (born in 1995), residing in My Thanh block, Dong Vinh ward, Vinh city; Vy Thi Hien (born in 1998, residing in Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district) and Pham Thi Hong Yen (born in 1997, residing in Nghia Binh commune, Nghia Dan).

Checking the rented room, the police also discovered a small amount of white powder contained in a plastic bag suspected to be ketamine, 1 tablet suspected to be ecstasy and some tools used for drug use.

In addition, the authorities also seized a number of speakers and flashing lights used by the group of young people while illegally using drugs.

Through rapid test results, all 9 subjects tested positive for drugs.

At the police station, the group of young men confessed that they had invited each other to buy drugs and bring them to Nguyen Thu Trang's rented room to use together.
