| The Hung Hoa dike runs along the Lam River, spanning three localities: Hung Hoa commune, Hung Dung ward, and Ben Thuy ward (Vinh City). Since its construction, the dike has become a popular spot for recreation, exercise, and strolling for local residents. However, it's worth noting that several illegal food stalls have sprung up along this dike, attracting many people, especially students, who frequently gather there for parties, meals, and littering, causing constant pollution. | Team leader Le Nam Quan shared: "The trash at Hung Hoa dike is mainly found on the dike slope, because people gathering to eat and drink on the dike have conveniently thrown it down. Therefore, packaging and leftover food make up a large amount. Not to mention that there are also many discarded religious artifacts lying in the riverbed for a long time..." Photo: NC |
