| Despite being just over 17 years old, Nguyen Thi Mai has already achieved remarkable success, including: Bronze Medal at the 2019 National Youth Kickboxing Championship; Gold Medal at the 2020 National Youth Kickboxing Championship; Gold Medal at the 2020 National Kickboxing Cup Championship; Silver Medal at the 2020 National Traditional Martial Arts Championship; Bronze Medal in boxing in 2020; and Silver Medal in boxing in 2022. Born in 2006 in Thanh Thuy commune (Thanh Chuong district), thanks to her good physique, in 2018 Tran Thi Lan was selected to join the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center in Taekwondo, even though, as she shared, she "didn't know how to play any sports and didn't even know what Taekwondo was."
