After six months of organization, the Ministry of Health has awarded prizes to individuals with the best entries in the "For the People's Health" photo contest.

Accordingly, on the morning of April 20th, more than 20 works that won first, second, third, and consolation prizes, as well as other special awards, were presented with Certificates of Merit and cash prizes by the Ministry of Health. All of these works demonstrated the responsibility, competence, and dedication of healthcare workers in serving the health of the people.

Quang Ninh Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital successfully performed a cesarean section on the first baby boy conceived through artificial insemination at the hospital, and also the first artificial insemination case in Quang Ninh province. The procedure was performed using intrauterine insemination (IUI). The mother is Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Ngoc, from Ha Lam ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.

Premature babies admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Da Nang City Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital receive special treatment with the support of their parents and the nurses and doctors in the unit.

The leprosy patient care program at local health centers aims to detect new leprosy patients in the community early, manage and treat them promptly, prevent disability due to leprosy, and help them reintegrate into society. Since the program began operating at local health centers, leprosy patients have received regular monthly monitoring and care. Early-detected cases are also treated and monitored for leprosy-related reactions at the health center. Program staff regularly visit patients' homes to monitor their treatment progress and guide disabled patients on how to exercise and protect their bodies during work and daily life through simple but effective exercises. The positive results after treatment are a source of joy for those working at the health center.
