Many still fondly remember the charming young MC with his quick wit and improvisational skills at the book exhibition booths.

Holding the book "Golden Lotus" that he cherishes so much, Minh Quang shared that this is a work that has accompanied him throughout his learning and training journey.

"I love this book not only because of the touching stories about Nguyen Sinh Con - the name Uncle Ho used when he was a child - but also because of the profound lessons I can apply to my life. Each page unfolds before my eyes a story about childhood, about friends, about the hardships that young Con went through. And through each of these stories, it evokes in me unforgettable emotions about Uncle Ho's resilience, patriotism, and simple virtues," Quang shared.

What those who interact with Quang clearly sense is the emotion in his eyes when he shares the knowledge and books he has read about President Ho Chi Minh. This is undoubtedly the motivation behind his establishment of a book club with members who are book lovers in the province. At the same time, Quang has created a learning software to provide useful book files, allowing his friends to download and read them.

Among the books I have collected, there are quite a few valuable ones about President Ho Chi Minh. In addition, as the school's student council leader, I have organized many reading programs during extracurricular activities, thereby spreading a love for reading culture and evoking sincere feelings of respect and admiration for Uncle Ho among generations of students.

Driven by his love of books, Quang has expanded his knowledge to achieve many important accomplishments, such as the Gold Medal at the Nghe An Provincial Open Robot Competition in 2022; the Bronze Medal in Mathematics at the National STEM Olympic Competition - Physics and Youth Magazine in 2023; the Second Prize in the 30th Nghe An Provincial Young Informatics Competition in 2024; and the Gold Medal in the VioEdu Mathematics Competition in Nghe An Province for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years.

I used to think that patriotism was only found in adults, in heroes, but through the simple stories about Uncle Ho's childhood, I realized that patriotism can begin today, from the simplest things.

"I started with small things, like doing my homework well, helping friends, and participating in extracurricular activities. And it was these small actions that contributed to making my life more meaningful and helped me love my homeland even more."

Sharing the same pure love for Uncle Ho, Nguyen Tien Loc, a 4th-grade student at Hung Dung 1 Primary School in Vinh City, has also devoted much effort to learning about the simple yet noble life of the President. This passion is deeply expressed through his writings, photographs, and reports that he and his classmates have diligently researched and produced.

In particular, in the competition"Uncle Ho in the hearts of the youth of Nghe An"In 2024, with their outstanding work about President Ho Chi Minh's love for the folk songs of the Ví and Giặm genres, Loc and his team of authors moved many people with the sincere and subtle emotions they conveyed.

In her work, she skillfully recounted memories of Uncle Ho and the times he listened to folk songs, as well as accounts from witnesses who had met him, highlighting his profound love for his homeland's culture.

Lộc shared that, through those stories, she not only understood more about Uncle Ho's love for the nation but also felt his closeness, simplicity, and boundless love for people and life. She hopes to continue carrying that love to spread it, contributing a small part to preserving and promoting the beautiful cultural values ​​of her homeland, and becoming a good citizen as Uncle Ho taught her years ago.

Spreading the spirit of learning.

In the modest house, renovated with support from the Civil Servants' Union since 2018 in Nghi Hung commune, Nghi Loc district, one can often see the light on the study desk of Tran Hoang Phuong Thao (4C class, Nghi Hung Primary School) shining every evening. Despite her difficult family circumstances, Thao never misses an opportunity to learn.

For me, that little study corner is where I nurture my dreams, where I persistently practice each letter and each math problem, even though life is full of difficulties.

Sitting at her daughter's study desk, Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Que (born in 1985) shared that Thao's circumstances have been marked by many losses. Her father passed away in September 2022 from a terrible case of pneumoconiosis after working at Chau Tien Co., Ltd. Before that, her father had also suffered severe burns in a boiler explosion at a wood processing company in 2016. The family's possessions have gradually disappeared with each visit to various hospitals for her father's treatment.

Although Ms. Que works at the State Reserve Bureau in the Nghe Tinh region, she has several underlying health conditions that require long-term treatment. All of this makes Thao's small house tremble in the storm.

Understanding the burdens weighing on her mother's shoulders, Thao strived in her studies and for many years achieved the title of Excellent Student with impressive grades; she also won the title of Vietnamese Language Champion at the school level and achieved high results in the VioEdu competition at her school.

I believe these achievements are a meaningful gift I give to my mother, a promise to my late father, and a motivation for me to continue pursuing my dreams in the future. For me, no matter how difficult the circumstances, with willpower and determination, anything is achievable.

It is evident that students like Phuong Thao, Minh Quang, and Tien Loc, with their thirst for knowledge and perseverance in overcoming difficulties, have become a strong source of inspiration for many of their peers. They are exemplary individuals among hundreds of students honored by the Provincial Agencies' Youth Union over the years through the "Good Children, Excellent Students, Beloved Grandchildren of Uncle Ho" commendation program.

With their holistic development, each student is an outstanding individual, having achieved high rankings in national and provincial competitions, and striving to win Gold and Silver medals in competitions organized by ministries and departments, as well as talent, physical education, and sports competitions.
