According to Decree 46 on administrative penalties in the field of road traffic (effective from August 1, 2016), the following types of illegal parking and stopping will be punished:penalty:

At the same time, according to Decree 46-CP,administrative sanctions in the field of road traffic,The following parking violations will be handled according to the fine range from 300,000 - 400,000 VND: - Park on a slope without chocking the wheels - Stopping or parking on a drainage manhole - Stop and park on the pedestrian priority lane - Stop where there is a sign prohibiting stopping or parking. - Stop on the bus lane - Stop not close to the curb or sidewalk in the direction of travel. - Use of unlicensed priority signaling equipment |

Also according to Decree 46-CP, automobiles ifdriving on the sidewalk (except when driving across the sidewalk to enter a house);Stopping, parking, or turning the car in violation of regulations, causing traffic congestion, will be punished.fine from 800,000 VND to 1,200,000 VND.
For the above violations, if the above vehicles cause traffic accidents, additional penalties will be applied:Driver's license revocation for 2-4 months
