However, just a few days later, Cong Phuong returned to his familiar side-parted hairstyle. Due to his long bangs, he had to use a headband when practicing to keep it out of his eyes.

Cong Phuong dyed his hair platinum while playing for Incheon United (Korea) and Sint-Truiden (Belgium) from February to August 2019. When he played with the Vietnamese team at the King's Cup 2019 in Thailand, he still kept this hairstyle.
