The 'records' set by Miss Vietnam 2018 contestants

Tran Tieu Vy (Quang Nam, left) and Nguyen Hoang Bao Chau (Hanoi) are also among the youngest contestants. Both are highly anticipated faces, and both made it into the top 3 of the Beach Beauty competition.

Nguyen Thi Hong Tuyet has the smallest waist in the competition: 55 cm. Weighing only 44 kg, she is also the lightest contestant. She is 24 years old and 1.67 m tall. Despite her petite appearance, Hong Tuyet is among the contestants who attracted attention with her charming face, making it to the top 3 in the Fashion Beauty sub-competition.

At 19 years old, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich is the tallest contestant in the competition (1.78 m). The beauty from Ha Tinh province has body measurements of 84-64-94 cm. She has had a talent for painting since childhood.

Phan Thi Diem Trinh is the shortest contestant in the competition: 1.66 m. However, thanks to her beautiful and well-proportioned figure (82-59-89 cm), the girl born in 1999 still attracts attention whenever she performs on stage.

Nguyen Thi Khanh Linh (born in 1997) is the contestant with the longest hair in the competition. The beauty queen said she loves her 1.4-meter-long hair and rarely uses chemicals, preferring to wear it naturally down or neatly braided.

Lai Quynh Giang (born in 1996) is the only finalist in the competition to pursue a master's degree after graduating from university. She was accepted into a master's program in Marketing Communications at the University of Westminster in London (UK) under a self-funded study abroad program. However, she requested that the university postpone her studies to the following year to focus on Miss Vietnam 2018.

Pham Ngoc Ha My is the contestant with the most foreign language skills in this year's final round. A graduate of the Diplomatic Academy, she communicates well in English and French and can understand Korean and Chinese. She attracted attention from the preliminary round because she was chosen to present flowers to President Donald Trump at Noi Bai Airport during his visit to Vietnam in November 2017.

Ha Thanh Van, from Cao Bang, is the only ethnic minority contestant in the Miss Vietnam final round. The 1.7m tall Tay girl, with measurements of 81-63-93 cm, has been praised for her stage presence. Born in 1993, Thanh Van is among the oldest contestants in the competition.
