From the afternoon of September 6th to 4 PM on September 7th, 2024, Hanoi recorded over 70 incidents of fallen trees due to Typhoon Yagi. The city's police force mobilized 140 rescue vehicles and 1,500 personnel to deal with the situation.
Typhoon Yagi continues to bring heavy rain, strong winds, and lightning strikes inland. Fire and rescue police advise against entering areas with large trees and recommend seeking shelter from the rain under trees.
People should be careful when passing through construction sites and areas with large materials such as corrugated iron and steel. In case of emergencies such as fire, explosion, or accident, call 114 or use the "Fire Alarm 114" app to contact rescue services.
