Car models with price reductions starting July 1st in Vietnam.

From July 1st, the special consumption tax rate will be reduced for vehicles with engines of 1.5 liters or less, creating favorable conditions for price reductions for many small car models in Vietnam such as the Kia Morning, Toyota Vios, and Honda City.

To stimulate demand for small cars and limit the use of large cars in Vietnam, the new Special Consumption Tax (SCT) has adjusted the tax rate, reducing it for small cars and significantly increasing it for large cars. Accordingly, for cars with engines of 1.5 liters or less, the new tax rate is 40% instead of the previous 45%, creating conditions for lower car prices.

Car manufacturers are offering discounts starting July 1st on many models, with reductions ranging from 5 million to 60 million VND.
