On 'peak sunny' days, Nghe An people seek out streams and creeks to 'escape the heat'

In Thanh Chuong district, on the hottest days, from early Saturday morning, hundreds of people flocked to Liep waterfall in Thanh Son commune to cool off and picnic.

“Với khí hậu trong lành, dòng nước mát lành nên thác Liếp là điểm lựa chọn của nhiều người trong mùa nắng nóng. Chỉ tính riêng 2 ngày cuối tuần, đã có khoảng gần 1.000 lượt khách tìm đến thác Liếp giải nhiệt”, anh Lô Văn Khưa - một người làm dịch vụ ăn uống ở thác Liếp cho biết.

Để phục vụ khách trong những ngày cao điểm, các dịch vụ như trông giữ xe, cho thuê phao, áo phao, phục vụ ăn uống cũng hoạt động hết công suất.

Ngoài ra, người dân ở đây cũng đã dựng các gian hàng bán sản vật địa phương như: ớt ngâm, rượu nếp cẩm, cơm lam, rau dún… phục vụ khách. Nhằm đảm bảo vệ sinh môi trường cho thác Liếp, bên cạnh cắm biển cấm xả rác, nhắc nhở du khách giữ gìn vệ sinh chung thì sau mỗi ngày, những người kinh doanh ở đây lại thu gom, xử lý rác thải 1 lần.

“Sắp tới, chúng tôi sẽ xây dựng hệ thống cảnh bảo nguy hiểm, cảnh báo về các điểm nước sâu, cảnh báo về phòng, chống cháy rừng; xây dựng các hố xử lý rác thải và làm cầu khỉ, bè nứa để phục vụ du khách”, anh Khưa cho biết thêm.

Còn ở điểm du lịch sinh thái Phà Lài ở làng Xiềng, xã Môn Sơn (Con Cuông), những ngày nắng nóng cuối tuần, lượng khách đổ về đây rất đông. “Mỗi ngày có khoảng 700 - 1.000 lượt khách, chủ yếu là khách nội tỉnh (60%), ngoại tỉnh khoảng 30% và khách nước ngoài khoảng 10%. Hầu hết là khách đặt theo tour, đi theo hội, nhóm.

In Tuong Duong district - a place known as a "fire pan", streams such as Dooc Bua (Tam Thai commune), Co stream (Tam Dinh commune), Nam Xan stream (Tam Quang commune), Vang Phot (Luu Kien commune) are places where people in the area come to cool down. Mr. Tran Van Hau, in Thach Giam town, and his family and friends chose Dooc Bua stream as a destination to cool down on the weekend.

“We came from town early in the morning to camp, bathe in the stream, eat, rest, and return after the sun has set. The stream water is cool and there are many trees, so the temperature here has also dropped significantly, it feels much cooler than in town. This summer, the stream is an ideal destination because it is not too crowded, not too crowded, not expensive, and the distance is short,” said Mr. Hau.

In the intense heat, people from all over the region often flock to streams and creeks to escape the heat. On weekends, in addition to locals, many visitors from other places come to streams and creeks to experience the experience.
