These days, many tourists, relatives of martyrs, organizations, and individuals visit the Do Luong Martyrs' Cemetery in Da Son commune, Do Luong district, to offer incense and pay respects, expressing their heartfelt gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Fatherland.

The Do Luong Martyrs' Cemetery in Da Son commune is located near the intersection of National Highway 46 and National Highway 15, making it very convenient for relatives of martyrs and tourists to visit and pay their respects. Mr. Pham Dinh Bon (74 years old), caretaker of the Do Luong Martyrs' Cemetery, said: "As July 27th approaches, the number of relatives of martyrs and visiting groups is increasing. Before this holiday, the cemetery management board organized the tidying up, mowing the grass, cleaning, and rearranging flowers on the martyrs' graves." Photo: Huy Thu

Ms. Le Thi Phuong Thao, residing in Dong Son commune and working at the Do Luong District Post Office, shared: "My uncle also sacrificed his life on the Southern battlefield and his family brought his remains back to his hometown. Every time I go to the cemetery to light incense and express my gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland, I am deeply moved. Among the crowds visiting the Do Luong Martyrs' Cemetery today were wives visiting their husbands, children paying respects to their fathers, veterans, and young volunteers who traveled long distances to visit their comrades… Mrs. Dao Thi Duoc (74 years old) from Block 7, Do Luong town, said: Today, she and her granddaughter came to the cemetery to light incense for her husband, martyr Nguyen Canh Hoe, who died in 1984, and his two brothers: martyr Nguyen Canh Van, who died in 1952 in Laos, and martyr Nguyen Canh Cac, who died in 1972 in Quang Tri.
