Niseko Hanazono: A ski resort in Japan that Tang Thanh Ha's family will visit in early 2026.
Tang Thanh Ha's family chose Niseko Hanazono in Hokkaido as their vacation destination for early 2026, a place famous for its soft, fluffy Japow snow and high-end accommodations.
Tang Thanh Ha, along with her husband and children, recently enjoyed a New Year's vacation in Niseko, a region known as the snow paradise of Hokkaido Island, Japan. The actress's family chose to experience Niseko Hanazono, one of the four largest ski areas there, famous for its soft, fluffy, white Japow snow.

Discover the ski resorts in Niseko.
Niseko is a top destination for winter sports enthusiasts, boasting a system of four interconnected ski areas: Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village, and Annupuri. This combination creates a vast network of slopes, catering to both beginners and professional athletes.

Located approximately 100 km south of Sapporo, Niseko Hanazono lies at the foot of Mount Annupuri. This area is particularly suitable for families due to its diverse terrain and numerous recreational activities. Besides skiing, visitors can enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, tubing, or horseback riding amidst the pristine white landscape.

Experience the cable car and premium service.
To conquer the slopes, visitors usually use the cable car system to the mountaintop. There are two main options: airtight glass cabins or open-air seating with railings for those who enjoy a thrill. From the top, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the snow-covered Hokkaido region.

In the Hanazono area, the Park Hyatt hotel is the most prominent accommodation option, offering direct views of Mount Yotei – often referred to as the "Mount Fuji of Hokkaido". This is a high-end accommodation segment with average room rates ranging from 20 million to 30 million VND per night (excluding taxes and fees). During peak season, the resort is frequently fully booked despite the increased prices.

The ideal time to visit and the culinary culture of Hokkaido.
Due to the influence of cold winds from Siberia (Russia), Hokkaido experiences its first snowfall of the season around the end of November. However, the ideal time to experience winter sports is in January and February each year, when the snow cover is thickest and most stable.

After hours of activity in the cold, visitors can relax in traditional hot springs (onsen). Niseko's cuisine is also a highlight, with local specialties such as ramen noodles, hairy crab, scallops, and salmon. Besides upscale restaurants, food trucks serving traditional dishes in the snowy weather offer a unique and enjoyable experience for tourists.

Japan has long been a favorite destination for Tang Thanh Ha's family. Previously, in March 2025, she and businessman Louis Nguyen took their daughter Chloe skiing in Yuzawa. In 2024, the family also spent their summer vacation in Kyoto and Osaka exploring Japanese culture and cuisine.
