The Japanese automaker began implementing new retail prices for its compact sedan, the Sunny, starting in October 2016.

Specifically, the new suggested retail price for the Sunny XL version is 498 million VND, a reduction of 27 million VND; the XV version is reduced by 21 million VND to 538 million VND.

The strengths of this compact sedan are its sturdy body, reliable and powerful performance, and fuel efficiency.

The Sunny is Nissan's second model in the Vietnamese market, following the 7-seater MPV Grand Livina. It is assembled at Nissan's TCIE plant in Da Nang city.

At its market launch in mid-2013, the Nissan Sunny had three versions, all using a 1.5-liter DOHC 4-cylinder gasoline engine, along with two transmission options: a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. Recently, Nissan Vietnam upgraded the Sunny to the HR15 engine generation with CVTC (Continuously Variable Valve Timing) and Drive-by-Wire technology.

The Nissan Sunny boasts a simple exterior design and a spacious interior. The strengths of this compact sedan include a sturdy body, reliable and powerful performance, and fuel efficiency.

According to test results under standard conditions, the Sunny has an average fuel consumption of 6.3 liters/100 km for the manual transmission version and 6.7 liters/100 km for the automatic transmission version.
