Pu Nha Thau Temple is a sacred temple and a spiritual and religious anchor for the ethnic minority people in Ky Son district.
The temple is dedicated to the Holy Mother of the Mountains and General Doan Nhu Hai of the Tran Dynasty, who made great contributions to protecting the country's southwestern border.

With its outstanding historical value, Pu Nha Thau Temple was classified as a historical and cultural relic by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in 2009. The opening ceremony includes rituals such as the purification ceremony, procession, buffalo sacrifice, announcement ceremony, grand sacrifice, and thanksgiving ceremony. The festival part is lively with folk games such as crossbow shooting, tug-of-war, and traditional games, as well as cultural performances.

It is understood that after the 2018 Pu Nha Thau Temple Festival concludes, the Ky Son District People's Committee will implement a project to restore, renovate, and expand the scenic beauty of the historical site, creating a cultural and spiritual highlight for the Pu Nha Thau Temple.
