Tourism to Indonesia is booming, providing support for the Vietnamese Olympic team.

For a long time, Indonesia wasn't a particularly "hot" tourist destination for visitors from Nghe An, but since the moment the Vietnamese Olympic team defeated the Bahrain Olympic team and officially advanced to the quarterfinals of the Asian Games, the number of searches for tours and routes to this archipelago nation has surged dramatically.

Capitalizing on the trend, many travel businesses in the province have developed and promoted tours to Indonesia with themes such as "Igniting the Vietnamese Olympic Team," "Belief in Victory," etc.

Because the "historic" quarter-final match of the men's football tournament at the Asian Games between Vietnam and Syria took place on Monday (August 27th) - a working day for civil servants and government employees - most tours were designed to be short-term, or day trips, allowing fans to arrange their time and make time to go and cheer.

According to our research, the day trip to Indonesia on August 27th will depart from Hanoi. Tourists from Nghe An will be picked up and assisted with transportation from Nghe An by the travel company. Reportedly, a considerable number of fans from Nghe An have already inquired about and registered to purchase tours and plane tickets to travel to Indonesia to support the Vietnamese Olympic team, especially to cheer on the players from Nghe An who are part of the team. Several travel agencies in Nghe An have stated that, depending on the quarter-final results, if the Vietnamese Olympic team advances, they will consider developing more short-day tours with more attractive prices to serve fans who wish to support the team.
