Man shoots rival for daring to chase after him to demand money from land broker.
Not only did Trắng not receive the agreed-upon commission for selling the land, but he was also shot at by his rival, leading to a terrifying chase.
On November 4th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Cang Long District Police (Tra Vinh) provided information about a case where a group of people opened fire on their rivals on the street.
In October 2018, Le Van Tron (33 years old, residing in Luu Tu hamlet, Huyen Hoi commune, Cang Long district) asked Vo Van Trang (38 years old, residing in the same locality) to help him sell his land and promised to pay him a commission if the sale was successful.

Later, Trắng introduced a person from Vĩnh Long to Trọn to buy his land. The two parties agreed to meet at a bank in Càng Long district on October 31st to exchange the money.
When it was time to collect the money, Trọn feared Trắng would cause trouble, so he hired a car and invited six other young men to go with him to the bank. The group brought along six knives and a homemade firecracker...
After receiving the money, Trọn left the bank, whereupon Trắng and his friend Bùi Văn Cường (34 years old, residing in Càng Long district) ran up to him and demanded the "brokerage" fee as agreed.
However, Trọn disagreed and got into the car. Trắng opened the car door intending to pull Trọn out, but then discovered six young men sitting inside with several homemade knives, so he panicked and left.
Trọn's car was heading towards Tra Vinh City. Cường, driving a motorbike with Trắng as a passenger, chased after them. Upon reaching Càng Long town, two young men in the car suddenly fired what appeared to be a homemade gun at Cường and Trắng, but without causing any injuries. Another young man then threw a homemade firecracker at the two pursuers.
At that moment, traffic police from Cang Long District Police, who were patrolling the road, spotted the incident and requested Tron's driver to stop the car for inspection.
However, the driver did not comply and instead sped away. Upon reaching Ba Si Bridge, the group threw away their weapons to conceal evidence. At this point, the vehicle lost balance and crashed into the bridge railing. The police then arrived and took those involved to the police station for questioning.
