In early August, farmers in the communes of Nghi Thai, Phuc Tho, Nghi Phong, Nghi Xuan, and Nghi Thach (Nghi Loc district) begin planting rice on dry land. As the rice begins to grow, sudden rain showers create favorable conditions for farmers to take advantage of the opportunity to go to the fields and start tending to their rice crops.
