Noo Phuoc Thinh praised the young artist from Nghe An who painted his portrait.

(Baonghean.vn) - After painting a portrait of singer Noo Phuoc Thinh, young artist Phan Dang Hoang from Nghe An received thanks and praise from the coach of The Voice 2017.

Recently, young artist Phan Dang Hoang (Vinh City, Nghe An province) completed a portrait titled "Golden Dream," depicting the famous Vietnamese singer Noo Phuoc Thinh. Inspired by the patterns and costumes of the feudal era of ancient kings and emperors, it offers viewers a fresh perspective on a golden age of the nation.

After posting a photo of singer Noo Phuoc Thinh on his personal Facebook page, Hoang received thousands of likes, hundreds of complimentary comments, and shares from the online community.

Almost all comments praised the young artist from Nghe An province who was featured twice in famous American magazines in 2016.

Thanks to the sharing by fans and the online community, the painting quickly reached singer Noo Phuoc Thinh.

Immediately, the male singer uploaded the painting to his personal Facebook page with the caption: "Thank you, Hoang Dang Phan, for spending a whole month drawing this for me. Please allow me not to upload the finished drawing. Because I prefer the simple brushstrokes; they better portray my personality."

Noo Phuoc Thinh's status update expressed gratitude and praise for the painting Phan Dang Hoang created of him, and also received thousands of comments from his fans praising the artist.

Speaking to Nghe An Newspaper, Phan Dang Hoang said: “Noo's photo is inspired by the East, drawing inspiration from a photo Noo took for Hoa Hoc Tro magazine a few months ago. Hoang chose to express the essence and beauty of East Asia, preserving traditional cultural elements in this work.”

Hoang further shared that this is the most memorable artwork of his life because the first brushstroke of the painting was made while he was suffering from a 39-degree fever, severely weakened, and had to receive three bottles of intravenous fluids continuously.

Thanks to his passionate dedication to painting, Phan Đăng Hoàng quickly overcame the difficulties to complete this work within one month.

Phan Đăng Hoàng, 17 years old, is currently a student in class 11D1 (Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Vinh, Nghe An) but is already a young artist who is famous not only in Nghe An but also nationwide. Hoàng himself and his paintings were honored in leading American magazines when he was 16 years old.
