People's Artist Anh Tu - actor of the movie "Cua de danh" passed away at the age of 56

Meritorious Artist Trung Anh shared that he was very sad when a student of People's Artist Anh Tu informed him of the news. After a long time of treating complications from diabetes, People's Artist Anh Tu breathed his last at 12:15 pm on December 20.

I just hope to work with people who have a personality like him," said artist Trung Anh.

In October, People's Artist Anh Tu was hospitalized.due to myositis caused by diabetes complications and had to have a blood transfusion. At the end of November, the artist's health deteriorated and he had to go to Bach Mai hospital for emergency treatment. He could not speak and could only look at people who came to visit him.

To many colleagues, friends and students, People's Artist Anh Tu is a person who is devoted to the stage. People's Artist Lan Huong said that, as acting director of the Vietnam Drama Theater, he only worries about how to create impressive works to help the theater maintain its position as the 'big brother' in the field of theater. Because of his enthusiasm for work, he rarely pays attention to his health. When he got sick and had to be hospitalized, he did not want to share it with anyone.
