People's Artist Anh Tú - actor in the film "Của để dành" (Things to Keep) passed away at the age of 56.
The actor from the film "Của để dành" passed away at 12:15 PM today (December 20th) at the Central Tropical Diseases Hospital, Dong Anh branch.
Meritorious Artist Trung Anh shared that he was very saddened to receive the news from a student of People's Artist Anh Tú. After a long period of treatment for complications from diabetes, People's Artist Anh Tú passed away at 12:15 PM on December 20th.

Twenty days ago, although his health was weak, he was still able to recognize people. A few days ago when I visited, he was unresponsive and had been transferred to the emergency room and put on a ventilator."

In the eyes of Meritorious Artist Trung Anh, People's Artist Anh Tú is a very passionate and serious professional. The two have worked together on many plays at the Vietnam National Drama Theatre. "I admire him very much. We're not overly close, but we often tease each other and share our thoughts about the profession. I only hope to work with people who have such a character as him," said artist Trung Anh.
In October, People's Artist Anh Tú was hospitalized.He suffered from myositis due to complications from diabetes and required blood transfusions. At the end of November, the artist's health deteriorated and he had to be rushed to Bach Mai Hospital. He was unable to speak and could only watch as people came to visit him.
To many colleagues, friends, and students, People's Artist Anh Tú was a man wholeheartedly dedicated to the stage. People's Artist Lan Hương said that, in his role as acting director of the Vietnam National Drama Theatre, his only concern was how to create impressive works to maintain the theatre's position as the leading theatre in the field of theatre. Because of his passion for his work, he rarely paid attention to his health. When he fell ill and had to be hospitalized for treatment, he didn't want to share it with anyone.
People's Artist Anh Tú was born in 1962.
