People's Artist Cong Ly could only give his young wife a loaf of bread for her birthday.
On the flight from Japan to Vietnam, People's Artist Cong Ly asked a flight attendant for a loaf of bread as a birthday gift for his young wife, which touched and delighted her.
Speaking to VietNamNet reporters, Ngoc Ha, the wife of People's Artist Cong Ly, who is 15 years younger than him, shared that her 37th birthday coincided with her taking her husband to Japan for his next treatment. She was happy that her husband only used a wheelchair at the airport, and when traveling to different locations in Japan, he could move around on his own without much assistance.
Her husband's gesture of asking a flight attendant for bread as a gift for her touched the beautiful woman deeply: "Mr. Ly said:Happy birthday, wife. This is all I can give you.It brought tears to my eyes. I realized that all the frivolous and unrealistic things were no longer so important. Happiness is when husband and wife overcome difficulties together and find peace."
After nearly five years of being with her husband, Ngoc Ha said that his health is now more stable. "Ly can participate in small roles and take care of himself. Before, I was busy working, and whenever I left the house, I had to prepare everything for him. If I couldn't rely on anyone to cook for him, I would order takeout. Now he can cook simple dishes himself, which saves a lot of money. I have time for myself and my work, and that makes me very happy," Ngoc Ha expressed.
Ngoc Ha shared that her love story received much sympathy from the audience, but also many negative comments calling her an "unfortunate woman." However, after overcoming difficulties and holding hands for the past 5 years, Ngoc Ha finds life gradually becoming better.
Ngoc Ha has learned to put her ego aside and stay away from negativity. She narrows her relationships, only caring for those close to her. In terms of spending, she knows how to choose what is truly necessary and discard what is unnecessary.
At 37, Ngoc Ha hopes to have good health so she can work hard. She started the new year by donating blood.
People's Artist Cong Ly and Ngoc Ha got married in January 2020. A few months after their marriage, they faced a major setback when People's Artist Cong Ly fell ill.
People's Artist Cong Ly is currently the Deputy Director of the Hanoi Drama Theatre and still participates in staging plays with other artists when assigned.
Ngoc Ha was among the top 20 contestants in the Miss Tourism Vietnam pageant in 2008. In her everyday life, she possesses a youthful beauty and an attractive fashion style.
