In the video, Minh Trung, the son of Meritorious Artist Chi Trung, sent his best wishes to his father: "Today is your birthday, Grandpa. The whole family wishes you good health and a long life." Minh Trung is the son of the artist and his ex-wife, People's Artist Ngoc Huyen.

Entering a new age, "Traffic God" (a character from the popular Vietnamese comedy show "Táo Giao thông") said he feels content and at peace with his current life. Although he admits to "having a few illnesses," the artist still feels lucky and cherishes each day he is alive.
He shared: "I am richer than anyone else because I have serenity and contentment with life, both in its gains and losses. Who knows what tomorrow will bring! There is only one thing we need to learn, and that is to know when enough is enough... For me, that is enough!"
Meritorious Artist Chí Trung revealed that his girlfriend helped him overcome a difficult period after his marriage ended. Currently, he is enjoying a peaceful life with his soulmate.

Besides his wife, Meritorious Artist Chí Trung also has the great joy of having two grandchildren, Kun (born in 2019) and Jun (born in 2024). He frequently visits his son's house to see and play with his grandchildren.
However, the male artist chose to live alone instead of with his son's family. He explained that differences in lifestyle and daily routines were the main reason for this decision. "Personally, I choose to live alone," he affirmed.
Currently, Meritorious Artist Chí Trung is living in a 33m2 house, the same one he used to share with his ex-wife. Prior to that, he and People's Artist Ngọc Huyền ended their marriage of over 30 years in 2018.
