The first time I stood on stage, I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest.

ButHaving worked as a television presenter for nearly 10 years, do you consider being a presenter your career?

Absolutely! In the early days of my career, I honestly just thought of it as a side job to test myself. But now, being a TV presenter is not just a career; I see it as my love, my life, and the motivation for me to improve myself every day.

- What led Thuy to become a presenter and to work with VTV3's Morning Cafe?

My journey into the MC profession was purely coincidental. Before...Morning Coffee,I have also been an MC for several programs on VTV, VTC, and the National Defense Television Channel. I still remember the first program I hosted was...Rainbow Classroom, a children's program on VTV7. It was my first time on stage and I was so nervous, I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest.

After that first time, I had more experiences with a series of programs on VTV such as:S Vietnam, VTV Travel, Street Food, We Are Soldiers…VTC with news broadcastsTalking about life, a new day at the cafe;QPVN with news bulletinsRubik of Life…Each program provided me with valuable skills and knowledge for my professional career.

A chance encounterVTV3 Morning CafeThat's when the show returned to air, serving viewers with a new format, a new look, and a lineup of prominent new hosts. It was both a stroke of luck and an opportunity for me to learn, reinvent myself, and grow significantly.

- Do you remember the first news broadcast at Cafe Sáng?

Many people may not believe it, but I couldn't sleep before my first hosting session. This is one of VTV3's flagship programs, and before it, there were many prominent presenters such as Mr. Lai Van Sam, Ms. Diep Chi, Ms. Minh Ha, Mr. Le Anh…

After each news broadcast, I would sit down and review it to learn from my mistakes. Initially, I lost sleep and appetite because of the broadcasts, and even lost weight. Fortunately, after all my efforts, my colleagues in the team recognized my work, and everyone encouraged me a lot.

- With your pretty face and many advantages, and your experience acting in the film "Choosing Your Destiny," why don't you pursue acting further and become a professional actress?

I just thought I was good-looking. After my first TV drama.Choose your destiny,I'm very happy that the audience loved and remembered the role of Hang that I played. I also received several film offers from directors and producers. However, due to unfavorable circumstances and my busy schedule at the time, I had to decline. Hopefully, there will be exciting things to come in film in the future.

- What interesting things does your profession tell you?

Hosting has given me so much. I am grateful for this job. It has become a source of inspiration for my daily life. People often say that the happiest people are those who do what they love. Thanks to hosting, I get to meet and interact with so many people and see so many different things every day. I get to listen and gain knowledge and life experience. This has shaped me into a different, more mature and confident version of myself over the years.

Whether we're presenters or staff at the TV station, we'll all be very "rich".

ButMany TV presenters flaunt luxury cars and designer bags, making viewers curious about their income. As someone in the industry, could you reveal a little bit about it?

I believe that all of us presenters and staff at the TV station are very "rich," but rich in feelings, emotions, knowledge, and experience as well.

This is a wealth trend that I'm sure everyone in any profession wants to pursue, a wealth trend with "weight" and influence that is sometimes far greater than just the story of economics or personal income.

ButSome people believe that becoming an MC isn't difficult these days, and even popular TikTokers can become MCs. What do you think?

I've come to realize that being an MC isn't an easy job. It's not a purely industrialized job where you just speak and smile like a robot. Every recording session feels incredibly stressful as I research the script and guest list. It even requires a significant emotional investment. I have to say that being a professional MC is very difficult. It's not just about being pretty, well-dressed, and speaking fluently and smoothly. It requires more than just a beautiful face; it requires intelligence, just the right amount of charm, and the ability to create a harmonious connection between the audience and the guests.

Nowadays, society is open, and opportunities are available to everyone. Job demands are flexible, and people are becoming multi-talented; it's quite normal for someone to do many different things. I've seen many people who are actors, teachers, doctors, CEOs... and still manage to be MCs. If someone asks me for advice, I'd say: "Just do it. If you have the ability and the passion, give it your all when you have the opportunity!"

I'm single

ButBeautiful, young, and talented—you must have many admirers, right?

I am currently single. I consider myself a lucky girl because I have many options.

So, what's your ideal type of boyfriend?

My ideal boyfriend is someone who is affectionate, loyal, has a warm heart, enjoys life, and is someone I can connect with.

ButYou're charming on stage, but what are you like when you're in love?

It's still me. I'm just like any other girl out there, wanting to be pampered by my boyfriend.

ButWhat are your plans for the future?

I'm still pursuing my career as an MC, hoping that I'll be able to try my hand at a new role so that the audience can see me in a fresher light.
